Project Update

Site Construction Officially Underway

04/10/2025

Construction has officially started on the Ken-Bailey Project, a new comprehensive healthcare center bringing quality, affordable healthcare to the Kensington-Bailey neighborhood.

This neighborhood is federally designated as a medically underserved area that lacks the healthcare resources needed to meet the needs of the population. These systemic factors continue to contribute to segregation, poverty, health disparities, and, ultimately, inequity.

The Ken-Bailey Project will close the health equity gap and support the community’s health and wellness with inclusive, judgement-free services including:

  • primary care
  • pharmacy
  • gynecology
  • sexual health care
  • HIV care
  • care coordination
  • food pantry
  • financial counseling
  • employment readiness
  • reentry services
  • community space
  • & more
